House Groups

House groups are held in various areas of the different cities in which our churches are found. They are held mid-week when there are no other general meetings. Their aim is to help the local church function as a family and through the various activities those who attend relate to one another in a more profound way.

As a product of this relationship pastoral care can be carried out more effectively and therefore healthy growth and reproduction occurs naturally. In this way new leaders continue to arise as a result of being discipled in the groups.

Generally speaking, the memebers meet in the home of the house group leader to facilitate the teaching of others to live as a Christian. The activities of each of the house groups are not restricted to a single day, but relationships allow members to visit one another or to arrange additional activities such as days in the countryside, meals, camping trips etc.

Practical themes based on the Bible are shared in the house groups which can be applied to the daily lives of those who attend. At the moment we have a well-defined program that allows us to bring unity to the vision of Centro de Vida Cristiana.

As well as these things, the groups share food, encouraging moments in which to get to know each other, opportunities to serve and pray for the needs of those who attend. All of these things are carried out in the sprit we read of in Acts 2:42.
